Purpose

Why convert?

Converting websites and web applications into desktop applications makes sense for businesses for various reasons.

Brand Loyalty

A desktop application provides a constant presence on the customer’s computer. Unlike a website that customers visit only when necessary, a desktop app stays visible and accessible, helping to strengthen brand awareness and encouraging more frequent interaction with the brand.

Professionalism

A desktop application reflects a high level of professionalism and demonstrates the brand’s commitment to delivering quality digital experiences. This can greatly improve how the brand is perceived, positioning it as a technology leader and strengthening trust in its products and services.

Exclusivity

A desktop application can be used to create an exclusive brand experience for select customers, enhancing the perception of a premium offering. Its limited availability on Windows or MacOS platforms can add a sense of exclusivity and prestige.

Sense of Security

A desktop application often gives customers a greater sense of security compared to a web browser. This enhanced perception of safety can increase trust and encourage users to complete important actions, such as making a purchase.

Performance

A desktop application offers better performance than a web browser, as it isn’t affected by manually installed plugins or browser limitations. This smoother, faster user experience leads to higher customer satisfaction and increased conversion rates.

Focus

A desktop application can integrate more seamlessly into a customer’s or employee’s workflow. Unlike web browsers, which can become cluttered with multiple tabs and windows, desktop apps support a more focused and distraction-free working environment.
